The Line-up
NICK: Lead Vocals
ALAN: Bass guitar
WALTER: Keyboards and backing vocals
- musical influences: Sesame street records, 19th century Classical, Clapton in a blues mood, Hard Rock, Metal, ...
- favorite composer: Sergej Rachmaninov - favorite cocktail: Campari Orange - favorite animal: Catwomen - favorite quote: "So much to do in so little time" (Jack Nicholson in "Batman") - bio: A bit of a musical centipede. Started classical music at the age of 4 and played ever since (filling the instrumental or vocal vacancies in the bands he encountered on his path). In recent years he divides his musical efforts between bass and keys. He once dreamed of finishing his own Rock-opera & Piano-concerto (for group and orchestra): however, restrictions of affordable multi-track recording in the hayday of the compact cassette, the fact that the valiant efforts of the school ensemble didn’t live up to the skill of a full-size professional symphonic orchestra and the frustrating lack of multi-functional siblings - why momma, why - forced him to postpone his composing ambitions. So he became a full-time lawyer with a flamboyant musical hobby. He embraces his star sign (Gemini), loves cooking for friends, doesn't understand soccer, reads too much esoteric literature and would like very much to be teleported back to Ancient Rome ("what a Caesar he would be"). Musically, he loves his kid brother and follows him wherever he may roam... |
DAAN: Drums, drums and even more drums
ALEXANDER: Guitar and backing vocals
- musical influences: Hard Rock, NWoBHM, Southern Rock, Prog Metal, Disco, ...
- favorite composer: Frank Zappa - favorite color(s): Rainbows combined with animal prints, disco balls and unicorns - favorite cocktail: Pink Panther (but I would very much like a beer to go with that) - favorite animal: Platypus - favorite quote: “I'm sorry if the correct way of doing things offends you" - bio: Quite unsuccessfully studied classical piano for nine years with a total of six different teachers. It was quite clear he wasn't cut out for a prosperous career in classical music. However, he performed his first pop gig at the age of ten, because his brother was in need of a bass player for his band. The bass had to be tuned in D because his arms weren't long enough to reach the end of the neck. Ever since, he played in various bands of his own or as a hired gun on either drums, guitars or bass. He is large, hairy and kind. Most of his spare time, you will find him looking for that extra bit of mojo in his sound. He is a big fan of pimped-out, chromed-out, fancy and colorful guitars. |
